JANUARY
I don't have a lot of pictures of these events so I will be typing a lot but just bare with me.
The first night after the wedding we drove to salt lake and stayed in a really nice suite in a hotel. It had a jetted tub in the room that was really nice. We then ate breakfast there and headed to out new town home to spend one night there and then we Spent the rest of the Honeymoon in St. George at a nice condo. It was perfect for the two of us. They had the pool area and hot tub open. I believe we went and sat in the hot tub every day haha or just about and there wasn't anyone else there when we went. Probably because it was around 40 degrees out side but it felt good to us since we were used to a lot colder here in provo. We really didn't do anything to exciting except shopping one day and went to the movies and dinner another. We were going to go to vegas one of the days but decided to make a trip later when we could spend a weekend there.
When we got back from our nice get away I had to go back to work and so did Byron. We had our open house the following saturday January 8th at byron's parents house. It turned out GREAT!! Some people from delta where my family lived before we moved to brigham came to see us, Which was a definite surprise! It was so good to see everyone. We really appreciate our family and friends for being there!
Oh on the side note I didn't mention we bought a town home in south provo and are loving it! We've painted recently and rearranged things so I will be posting pictures of that later!
Movin' on to FEBRUARY!
Next thing that has happened in our lives that came maybe as a stressor but yet we are excited!!
I'M PREGNANT!! :)
This is me at 20 weeks.
The next news we have found out is.....
It's going to be a BOY!! :)
We can't wait for the little guy to get here, we are having the hardest time picking out names though! We have girl names picked out but no boy ones that we can agree on! haha I'm sure we'll think of something though!
Valentines Day...
Which I think is a weird holiday but we kind of celebrated anyways.
This is what I did for Byron...
I had a trail from our back door leading to our bedroom to find this nice surprise! He loves the movie Despicable Me and the had a good price on the dual pack so i decided why not. haha nothing to spectacular but it was fun!
Then this is what he did for me.....
He left it on the front porch and knocked on the door when he got home from work and ran to the back door.... it was kind a cute! The m&m's were mostly for him and the flowers and Fruit Snacks for me! It was real sweet of him! :)
Later on in February Byron's band Goodnight Annabelle Played in Richfield where 3 of the guys are from so we play there often. They played for the high schools state championship tournament after party. I wish I would of got pictures cause while the guy there was DJ-ing in between sets they set up a thing outside where they sold cd's and t-shirts of theirs and some of the people were wanting them to autograph them and take pictures with the band as if they were this huge famous band! It was crazy! ha never thought I would marry someone FAMOUS! :) It was a lot of fun!
We stayed at one of the band member's parents house and the next morning watched the BYU's basketball game for the NCAA tournament, Before we headed out to VEGAS for the rest of the weekend! :) I had never been before and since byron is from there we have been wanting to go for a while! It was kind of snowy in some parts of the drive that got a little scary. Especially at one part where we spun out and were facing the other direction and luckily we slid to the side cause a car came by soon after. It was pretty scary!! We made it safe though with no scratches or dents!
When we arrived at vegas it was dark out so it looked so cool with all of the lights. We first headed to downtown where byron wanted to take me to this one hotel first.
The Bellagio
It was so pretty at night. We first were inside where they have this commons area that they decorate with different themes every 3 weeks or so that was way cool! It was a chinese theme while we were there. Then he took me outside and took a few pictures and then.....duh dun dun
He was wanting to show me this! I guess a different fountain show goes off every hour or 15 min? i can't remember. But we almost missed it cause it was a little late and so we started to walk away and then he turned back and I say that there should have been something going on but didn't know what... Then the music started and this went. It was AMAZING! Then after we walked around at a few other places, Then headed to his sister's house where we were staying for the weekend! It was lots of fun!
Monday we ate at a Buffet that was really cheap but pretty good.. I believe I got way too full though!
After wards we had some time to kill so we decided to head to the end of the strip and go to this electronic store where we found........
It was such a sweet deal we couldn't pass it up with all the features that it had and for the price it was RIDICULOUS!!!! But we love it. Now just trying to find a entertainment center that we love that fits it! haha
After we headed down the strip to TI (Treasure Island) Where we saw...
Mystere
Which was AMAZING!!!!!
It was crazy how they could move there body and do these amazing tricks.
Definitely recommend seeing it!
Just waiting to get the show started.
I love the ladies face behind us!
My camera has 2 flashes and it was kind of dark in there..
Pretty Classic!
The next morning it was off to Provo we go... Back to live with Work.. YAY!
This trip was probably one of my favorites so far even though we didn't really do much. And maybe thats why cause nothing was really planned except the show and so we just did whatever!
